Vodafone gave up on football aimed at the residential segment a few years ago but for the HORECA channel this decision was delayed until 2022. This same year, with the end of the season still to be decided, it relaunched its Vodafone TV Bares package, adding all football and other motor sports such as F1.
Now, the Zegona-owned operator has announced that Vodafone TV Bars will broadcast all the competitions of the king of sports live. In addition, there will also be Formula 1 and other sports such as basketball, handball and volleyball.
Vodafone TV Bars for the 2024/2025 season: all football, including European competitions
After learning that Vodafone is planning two fiberCos, one with Masorange and another with Telefónica, and announcing the new free channels coming to Vodafone TV in August, the operator is focusing on the HORECA segment to continue offering national and international football competitions.
Through its Vodafone TV Bars service, customers will be able to watch All football live from the 2024/2025 season: from LaLiga EA Sports to the Champions League, including the Europa League. As we said, Vodafone will offer this service to customers of bars, hotels, restaurants and cafes, with the residential offer remaining as LaLiga revealed a month ago.
What is included in the Vodafone TV Bars package? As confirmed by the operator, all matches from the national leagues will be broadcast, including LaLiga Hypermotion. All matches from the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, the MotoGP championship and, of course, the F1 World Championship will also be broadcast.
Vodafone TV Bars has several channels among which the sporting events will be distributed, organized as follows:
- LaLiga TV Bar Channel: all LaLiga EA Sports matches, all LaLiga Hypermotion matches, the six matches of the Playoff ascents and summaries thereof, both live and on demand.
- Channel ‘Champions League’: all matches from the Champions League, Europa League, Europa Conference League and UEFA Youth League.
- DAZN Bar Channel: the MotoGP World Championship, the Superbike World Championship, combat sports and the most important matches of the F League, the UEFA Women’s Champions League, the Premier League, the Italian Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Italian Super Cup.
- ‘DAZN F1 Bar’ Channel: the Formula 1 World Championship.
- ‘LaLiga + Bars’ Channel: a 24 hour channel with the best sporting events in handball, basketball and volleyball, among other sports.
The Vodafone TV Bars package is now available on the usual channels for both current and new customers. from 270 euros per month (VAT not included). As a launch promotion, the first 150 subscribers will receive a €100 voucher to spend on fuel at Cepsa petrol stations.
