Tech News Desk – If you have an Apple brand iPhone or iPad or even a Mackbook, now be prepared to pay more money for a battery replacement. Apple unveiled last month that battery replacement is going to get costlier and now from March 1, anyone who gets their device’s battery replaced will have to shell out extra money.
Tell us that if your device is out of warranty, it will cost you more money. Sometime back the company had increased the battery replacement cost of its latest iPhone 14 series and now the company has increased the battery replacement cost of all its models. As per Apple Insider’s report, before the iPhone 14 battery service charges on all iPhone models have increased by $20 (roughly Rs. 1644).
On replacing the battery of the iPhone that comes with the home button, it is now reduced to $69 (roughly Rs. 5673) instead of $49. At the same time, the battery cost charge of iPhone X and following models are now increased to $99 (roughly Rs. 8139). Apart from the iPhone, the battery replacement cost of the MacBook has also increased by $30 (roughly Rs. 2466). At the same time, the battery cost of the MacBook Pro has been slashed by up to $50 (roughly Rs. 4,111).
There is no change in the battery replacement cost of the iPad. We know that the cost of battery replacement for the latest 12.9-inch iPad Pro is $179 (roughly Rs. 14717) (roughly Rs. 14717) to $149 (roughly Rs. 12251). Battery replacement cost may vary by region and country. One thing that is going to be noted here is that this price hike will not affect the users who have taken AppleCare+ service of the company. Or if your product is under warranty, it’s not going to affect you.
