what can you hire and what services are not available

As of today, all the premium operators (Movistar, Orange, Vodafone and Yoigo) have a portfolio of solutions aimed at companies and freelancers. But what about second brands? If you take a look at the O2, Lowi, Simyo, Jazztel, Pepephone websites, you will see that, with the exception of MásMóvil, none of them have a dedicated section for professionals.

Does that mean that companies cannot contract their rates? They can do it perfectly, but they are not your target audience and, therefore, those second brands do not offer specific services for them. Besides, some restrictions usually apply regarding your proposal for individuals. Let’s see, for example, everything you should take into account if you decide to hire O2 for your business.

What O2 rates are available for companies

Can I hire O2 for my business? The answer is clear: yes. O2 is available both for individuals and for hiring self employed or small business with C.I.F. And what rates are available?

O2 ensures that “the benefits are the same for both individuals and companies.” That is to say, same rate, same services included and same price. This means that, if your business is in a free zone, you have the following options:

  • 1 Gbps Fiber and 100 GB 5G Mobile Rate: 50 euros per month (VAT included).
  • 500 Mbps Fiber and 75 GB 5G Mobile Rate: 44 euros per month (VAT included).
  • 500 Mbps Fiber and 50 GB 5G Mobile Rate: 38 euros per month (VAT included).
  • 300 Mbps Fiber only rate: 27 euros per month (VAT included).
  • 100 GB 5G mobile only rate: 20 euros per month (VAT included).
  • 20 GB 5G mobile only rate: 10 euros per month (VAT included).
  • The prices of the additional lines are also identical.

Good, nice and cheap: the perfect combination of fiber and mobile exists, and these are my recommendations for finding it

Aspects to take into account before hiring O2 as a company

We have already seen that the rates that O2 offers for freelancers and small businesses They are the same as for individuals. However, it is important that you keep in mind some aspects if you are considering hiring O2 for your business.

First of all, you have to know that answering service not available neither on the landline nor on the mobile. In addition, since O2’s target audience is not companies, you will not have the fixed IP contracting service, installed switchboard services or an ISDN with additional numbers.

Also, if you do the portability from Movistar and you have the “Second line” service with a virtual number (without a physical SIM) associated with your main mobile, that second line will not be able to go to O2. As it is not an O2 compatible service, you will lose that virtual number.

All this being said, if you decide to hire O2 for your business on the O2 website. As a freelancer, the process will be the same as as an individual, but if you want to sign up for the mobile or fiber service as a company, you will have to facilitate the CIF of your company and the activity during the registration process.
