We review what we liked most about Apple’s WWDC24, one of the most important events of the year
This week WWDC24 was held, one of the most important Apple events of the year, especially due to the number of announcements and news. Apple has presented all its new operating systems and has revealed its plans related to artificial intelligence. AND The iPadizate editors have summarized what for each of them has been the best of Apple’s WWDC24an event that we liked very much.

What I liked most about everything Apple presented during WWDC24 is what it took the longest to show. we were wearing months talking about the arrival of artificial intelligence to Apple devices and the company saved the best for last. After presenting iOS 18, macOS Sequoia, iPadOS 18 and the rest of the operating systems, the company revealed Apple Intelligence.
What I like about Apple Intelligence is that it is not about loose and specific functions, we are talking about deep integration of AI throughout the operating system. We will have Apple Intelligence within iOS 18, iPadOS 18 and macOS Sequoia helping us in many places.
Apple Intelligence will help us summarize and refine texts, create images or emojis to our liking, prioritize our notifications, manage our email and improve Siri like never before, with a richer understanding of language, with awareness of our personal context, the ability to take action within and across applications and deep knowledge of devices. The only bad thing is that its launch will be in beta form in the US and that We will not know when it will reach more countries and languages.

I would like to focus mainly on the fact that it has been one of the Apple’s most historic WWDC events. Not so much because of the level of software innovations, that too, but because of the mastery that the company has achieved in the execution of this type of previously filmed events. And here everything comes in, from the camera shots to the virtues of the speakers, including Craig Federighi’s fun performances and his craziness.
That being said, what I liked most about WWDC24, what made me get out of my chair were all the Messages news. I use Apple’s messaging application a lot and with the arrival of new effects, message scheduling and new reactions TapBack will be more fun than ever. I loved the small design improvements Apple has made to iOS 18 and iPadOS 18, the redesign of Photos, and the new Control Center. The Vitals app in watchOS 11 will provide a leap in health monitoring quality, and visionOS 2’s spatial videos will be more impressive than ever.

I was also pleasantly surprised by the announcement of the second seasons of ‘Silo’ and ‘Separación’as well as the introduction of Matt Damon on Apple TV+ with the movie ‘The Instigators’, given that he is one of my favorite actors.

My favorite feature of WWDC24 has been iPhone Mirroringwhich allows you to have your iPhone on your Mac. As a user of both devices, I hope to try the iPhone Mirroring function with which Apple takes the integration between iPhone and Mac to a completely new level, allowing you to control your iPhone directly from your computer.
Imagine power Access all of your iPhone’s apps, games, and features with the convenience and precision of your Mac’s keyboard, trackpad, and mouse. It’s like having your iPhone always at hand, even if it’s in your bag or if it’s out of battery.
Can open and use any app, interact with it using Mac peripherals, and even drag and drop content between both devices. And the best of all is that your iPhone is still completely locked, no one can access it if you don’t unlock it manually. iPhone Mirroring also supports Sleep, allowing you to view and respond to iPhone notifications right from your Mac. It’s like having two devices in one, with the convenience and flexibility of using them in the way that suits you best

Input WWDC24 intro is 10, Apple has accustomed us to introducing ourselves to its events with a spectacular gala of scenes. Apple Intelligence caused a surprise, although the name was revealed hours before the event, the expectation was very high and left a good taste in the mouth. I’ll stick with Siri, Image Playground, and smart writing tools.
It is very much appreciated iOS 18 customization and visionOS 2 will make our memories something that we can easily relive with 2D to 3D photos. In terms of accessories, the AirPods continue to gain good features; head nods are great. Finally, I was pleased to learn hours after the event that my 2015 Apple TV HD will be updated to tvOS 18.
