An internationally known color
We talk about international orange, but the truth is that there are three international oranges. On the one hand there is the aerospace, on the other the Golden Gate bridge and finally the one used in engineering. The first of them could sound to us for several components, among them the tape across closed aircraft door, which use this striking color to warn that the cabin is pressurized. We have also seen it in NASA space suits and in the Bell X-1 plane, the first to break the sound barrier in 1946.
The Golden Gate Bridge International Orange already describes itself. To finish tuning we will say that it is slightly darker than aerospace and that this color was used to make the can as visible as possible to ships. A color that is also used on the April 25 bridge in Lisbon.
Finally we find the international orange used in engineering, which it is much closer to red than the previous ones and that we see, above all, in the Tokyo Tower, with its characteristic orange and white pattern, and also in the Maintower in the center of Frankfurt.
And all this is what is related to our new Apple Watch Ultra. A watch that has added a new action button on its left side painted in international orange. A button with which we can interact with our watch without having to touch the screen and also allows us to activate the audible alarm. A button that draws attention within the design of this watch and does so with a really well-known color.
