We highlight all the new features of a WhatsApp Messenger update that could be historic for iPhone and Android devices

The new WhatsApp update for August 2024
Currently WhatsApp Messenger has been updated to its version 2.23.12.75 on Android and most recently to version 2.24.16.79 on iOS. WhatsApp was last updated on the App Store on August 12 and its new features continue to expand progressively globally.
It should be noted that Some of the new features in this WhatsApp update are still in beta phase. So we will have to wait a little longer for them to become available. In fact, there are still many users waiting to receive the new WhatsApp interface design. So be patient.
- New interface for calls: The latest WhatsApp software update for iPhone brings a new user interface for audio and video calls with updated and more reliable controls.
- Favorite Contacts: Meta’s messaging app now includes a new section for your favorite contacts as well as a new filter for chats that you can access from Settings > Favorites.
- New support for GIPHY: WhatsApp has partnered with GIPHY again to offer support for animated stickers, so sharing your emotions will now be much easier and more fun.
- Creating custom stickers: WhatsApp is also working on an artificial intelligence tool to create custom stickers on iOS and Android.
- Blocking spam messages: Another of WhatsApp’s great new features is blocking messages from unknown accounts to avoid scams and SPAM. This feature is currently under development.
- AI Selfies: This feature, also in beta, will completely revolutionize your chats by creating images of your face using artificial intelligence to turn you into an astronaut, a footballer or a rock star.
