WhatsApp already gives the possibility to edit messages

It has been through a note on his blog where WhatsApp has made this possibility of editing messages official. This way they want to offer more control over chats, since they will allow you to correct spelling errors in the message and also add context.

Keep in mind that this is a feature that is coming in stages, and at this time it may not work for you. But you have to be patient and wait until finally when you hold down a message that has been sent, the “Edit” button appears in the menu.

But there is a ‘but’ in this function, since you will only have 15 minutes to edit the message that has been sent. In this way they want to prevent really old messages from being edited that could generate some kind of confusion. Although next to all these modified messages you will find the status “edited” so that the recipient knows that it has been revised (as in Telegram) and without the possibility of seeing the history of changes.

With all these changes, WhatsApp seems to he is trying to please the community with his wishes. Now it seems that the next challenge they will have is to eliminate the phrase that appears when we delete a message to know that they are really listening to us.
