On September 26, Mark Zuckerberg announced on Facebook that a new feature would be released this week: the call links. Thanks to this tool, it is possible to generate a link for a call to share with other people, so that they can join with a single click.
The feature has also been announced by Will Cathcart on Twitter and has included a few more details: the feature supports both audio and video calls. We also saw some details about this feature during the development of the WhatsApp for Android 2.22.6.5 beta update.
Today, thanks to the WhatsApp for Android 2.22.21.13 beta updateWhatsApp is finally rolling out the ability to create call links to some beta testers. The images appear to be on Android.

This is how the update works on Android and iOS
As you can see from this screenshot, it’s easy to check if the feature is already available for your WhatsApp account: you just have to open the calls tab and if you see a new row called “create call link” that allows you to create a link for a call.
When you believe a link for a call, you can choose the type of call (voice or video) and the call will automatically become a group call when more than two people join the call.
Please note that when you share a call link, your phone number will be shared with people who join the callso you should only share it with people you trust.
This feature has been released for some beta testers and more people will be able to generate a link for a call in the coming days. You should get to the app WhatsApp for both iPhone and Android, they report in Wabetainfo, a medium specialized in the green icon.
