Tech News Desk – Patients suffering from diseases like cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy will soon be able to walk without any support. American scientists have prepared a special type of wheelchair for such patients, which starts moving as soon as they think in their mind. For which patients it will be useful… Scientists say that apart from the disabled, it will be useful for those patients who are suffering from spinal cord injury or do not have the ability to walk in hands and feet. Scientists say, crores of people in the world are suffering from motor disability diseases like cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, it will prove to be very helpful for them. Only in America 5.5 million people are struggling with it.

How was it made… Scientists of Texas University say, patients with this wheelchair will have to wear a special type of cap i.e. helmet. It consists of 31 types of electrodes, which try to read the signals of the brain according to the needs of the patient. Apart from this, a laptop has also been installed in the wheelchair, which works to convert signals into movement with the help of AI ie Artificial Intelligence. How will the wheel layer work… Work on this wheelchair has been going on for a long time. Scientists say, if patients want to move to the right, all they have to do is imagine that they are turning their arms and legs to the right. Doing this will generate signals in the brain and they will try to interpret that object as an electrode. Through the laptop, that signal will be converted into movement with the help of artificial intelligence. This will cause the wheelchair to turn to the right.
