Microsoft has just released the big update to its operating system For computers, we are talking about Windows and, more specifically, about Windows 11 which, as of today, has a new update that is now available to all users. Let’s see in detail the changes that come with the launch of this update.
The first thing to keep in mind is that this is the second major update that comes to Windows 11, the operating system is now in its version Windows 11 22H2. Of course, for those users who have been in the Insider program for a long time, these news have already been seen for a few months.
Among these novelties, the slight design change found within Windows 11 stands out. The improvements aimed at the design translate into a much cleaner desktop and in that, now, folders can be made within the Windows 11 Start menu. With these folders the applications can be grouped by content.
The folders in Start Menu of Windows 11 is not the only aesthetic change, the File Explorer has slight changes that stand out as soon as you open this window and, for example, we find that now when accessing this functionality it opens directly in a new menu called Home.
Windows 11 is updated: these are the changes in the Microsoft operating system
Leaving the aesthetic improvements, we are going to see the novelties that arrive to improve the Microsoft operating system. This Windows 11 update improves the design of the Task Manager to make it much more comfortable to use and, above all, efficient when asking you to perform certain tasks.
Other improvements that arrive are those designed for accessibility, although these have a point against and, to use them, you have to speak English. Windows 11 will offer a feature that allows you to create subtitles automatically to the contents that are reproduced on the screen, although these will only be in English.
There are also improvements to the security of users and the Microsoft operating system. These improvements come thanks to the new Microsoft Defender SmartScreen that will be able to detect if the credentials are being entered into malicious applications. There is also the implementation of Windows Hello for Business.
The last of the features that have come to Windows in terms of security is the Smart App Control. This application it is intended to block any type of malicious application or script before it is finished executing. There are many new features for Windows 11 and, to be honest, you will have to discover them all in practice.
