You can find apps not only in Google Play on your Android, but also in your computer’s browser. You can even install them on your phone from there: Google Play Store on the web allows you to download applications remotelyAnd it has been expanding its options to match the mobile store, including access to Google Play Points.
The computer can be made more comfortable for finding applications, if only because its screen is larger than that of the smartphone (apart from making searching easier with the physical keyboard). In our usage, combining the web and the mobile version of Google Play achieves the perfect combination of Ease of use, comfort and speedThat’s why we’re glad to discover that Google is making the browser a better place.
Google Play on the web is on par with the Android store
Until now, it was possible to browse the web for apps and games, access their description sheet, see which mobiles the applications are compatible with, Google Play allowed you to install the software remotely and even choose which device to download the application onWith recent changes introduced by Google, the avatar menu in the browser is now similar to that of the Android store.
When you load and click on the avatar at the top right, the store displays a menu with many more options. For example, we now have access to “Personalization in Play,” a new feature that Google introduced a couple of weeks ago. We can see the activity, the apps installed on the devices, the offers that Google Play offers us and even the Google Play Points.
With this change in the web interface, it is no longer necessary to access Google Play on your mobile every Friday to see what prizes we have won in Play Points: It is possible to carry out the process from the browser. To do this:
- Open the Google Play store in the browser on your computer (or other device, even an iPhone).
- Click on your avatar icon in the upper right corner of your screen.
- Select “Play Points”.
- Go to “Advantages.”
- Click on “Claim” and you will know what you have received.
Google Play can give away Play Points or even direct prizes, such as months of subscription to Google One. The possibility of getting new prizes is renewed every Friday, so it is worth going to the store to try again. And the prizes They improve as you level up: There are five in total (bronze, silver, gold, platinum and diamond).
With the redesign of the Google Play web menu, it is much more convenient to access all the options of the store without having to open the phone. Now all that’s left is to activate the Google Play Pass section, and the shortcut appears in the new menu. It’s a shame that Google doesn’t have it ready yet.
