One proof of this is the so-called Xiaomi CIVI 2, which is quite popular for its conditions, in addition to its aesthetics. For many it is one of the most beautiful smartphones of the Chinese brand, since last year’s model boasted a shiny appearance similar to glitter, while for the new launch they have opted for a renewed design reminiscent of waves. Without a doubt, it is a phone that has generated a lot of expectation, but that, unfortunately, has never arrived in Spainalthough this could be about to change according to the latest leaks.
A “different” Xiaomi CIVI 2
Xiaomi itself confirmed that the announcement of the Xiaomi CIVI 2 will take place on September 27, although he has already given us a first look through the renders. As usual in this type of case, the product will only land in China, but leaker Kacper Skrzypek, a well-known and reliable source in the industry, claims that this new release could open its doors to the global market.

So #XiaomiCivi2 next week. It may arrive to Global markets too (of course as «different» device, you know… ;)), but it’s yet to be determined. https://t.co/2EZAEtJG8W

According to the words of Kacper himself, the Xiaomi CIVI 2 would land outside the Asian country under another name. Everything seems to indicate that its counterpart will be the Xiaomi 13 Lite which hopes to arrive next year accompanying the new generation of mobile phones from the Chinese brand. However, the informant points out that it is better to wait for more recent reports to confirm this fact.
Perfect to be Lite
This would not be surprising at all, since the first Xiaomi CIVI already had certain similarities with the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE, such as the same Snapdragon 778G processor. Now, the specifications of the new model also show some features that may seem designed for a smartphone with some cuts in terms of performance and weight.
This is evidenced both by its dimensions of 7.23mm thick as their low weight of 171 grams. It is a bit larger and heavier than the previous generation, but this means that the hardware it hides inside is also more powerful. Everything we know up to this point is thanks to the rumors of the last few days, but we will have to wait until its presentation to confirm its characteristics for sure.
The Xiaomi CIVI 2 could equip a curved AMOLED screen of 6.56 inches and accompanied by FHD + resolution and a rate of 120 Hz. The differential aspect would be the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip, that is, a limited variant of the 8 Gen 1; while for the battery we find a capacity of 4,500 mAh and support for fast charging of 67W. This coupled with a camera module consisting of a 50 MP main lens, an 8 MP wide angle and a 2 MP macro.
