It is not the first time that we see something like this within the company. The last time it was with the Redmi Note 8 2021, a mid-range that picked up the name of the previous model and renewed a large part of its features.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023 will improve, but only a little
At the moment only details of its characteristics have been leaked, so we cannot know if it will improve in design or change any details. most likely Xiaomi repeat design and use the chassis currently mounted on the Redmi Note 11 Pro (2022).
What will change is the processor. Various reports suggest that the company will include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G. The current model has a MediaTek Helio G96a chip that in the benchmarks is a little below the Qualcomm.
This means that Xiaomi will not only change the brand of processors, but also will increase device performance. It could also substantially improve games: it is well known that most developers care and squeeze more graphics when it comes to Qualcomm processors.
It will launch with MIUI 13 and Android 13
Very good news is that this Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023 would arrive with Android 13 and MIUI 13. It should be something obvious, but not so much when we talk about Xiaomi. We have seen very recent releases with Android 11. Yes, even a year after Android 12 is official.
We don’t know when it will be launched, but it could be a very good option to enjoy one of the first Android 13 phones on the mid-range market.
Same screen, battery and camera
Change the processor and software. The rest of the aspects of the device are maintained. See a 6.67-inch FullHD+ screen and 120Hza 5,020 mAh battery, 8 GB of RAM, up to 128 GB of storage or the camera of 108 megapixels.
It does not seem like an update designed to change a Redmi Note 11 Pro (2022) for this one Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023, although it could be interesting for older mobile users. At the moment it’s time to wait, because the surname “2023” makes it clear that it will still take a while to see it officially.
