A smartwatch with a thousand appearances
Xiaomi has taken advantage of the MWC 2024 showcase to present accessories such as the new Xiaomi Watch S3 smartwatch. They were announced in China along with the Xiaomi 14 and now, like those, they reach the global market.
The first thing that catches your attention about the Watch S3 is that it has an interchangeable bezel to transform its appearance, in addition to changing the strap, something more common in smartwatches. With a circular format, the Xiaomi Watch S3 has a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
Inside there is a 486 mAh battery with magnetic connector and promises up to 15 days of autonomy. According to Xiaomi, the HyperOS that it contains means improvements in connectivity and synchronization of information with the phone.
The watch includes 150 sports modes and a GNSS chip for more precise positioning through five satellites. It supports immersion up to 50 meters deep and detects accidental falls.
It is also capable of monitoring heart rate, blood oxygen saturation and sleep quality. In addition, it allows you to answer calls and SMS without needing the phone thanks to the optional eSIM functionality. And because it runs HyperOS, it supports gesture control, such as twisting or shaking your wrist.
Price and availability of the Xiaomi Watch S3
The new Xiaomi watch is available in the colors black, silver and brown, duotone and rainbow ceramics. The retail price is 149.99 euros and it is now available for purchase through the usual channels.
