Tech News Desk – If you use YouTube to watch videos, then there is good news for you. Now soon users are going to get rid of advertisements appearing on YouTube. The company said that it is going to make a new change on the platform, which will be applicable from 6 April. Under this change, the video streaming platform is going to remove the overlay advertisement.
This change will be applicable from April 6 on the video streaming platform YouTube. The company has given this information through its YouTube support page. Let us know that the company has announced the removal of overlay advertisements. This means that other banners or small ads are still going to bother you in the videos. At the same time, the thing to note is that the company is going to implement this feature only on the YouTube desktop version. That is, mobile app users will not get the benefit of this.
Overlay ads used to appear on mobile as well, but they were removed some time ago and no one objected to their removal. However, it is not clear who will replace these ads on desktop. Things will probably focus on pre, mid and post-roll ads. These ads appear above or below the video. That is, along with the video, these advertisements also appear. However, these ads do not interfere with the video in any way, you can enjoy your YouTube videos even with these ads. Such advertisements are rarely seen on mobile.
However, these advertisements can also be removed by clicking on the cross. But sometimes it bothers too. Like you are clicking on the cross but if the ad is clicked then it will directly take you to that page. That means then the fun of your video is bound to be gritty. But after April 6, you will not get to see such advertisements.
