YouTube PremiumIf you are not subscribed to GoogleThe ads that are becoming more and more annoying are probably bothering you too much. Luckily, the company will give you a breather by ditching a very annoying ad format next month.

In a post on YouTube’s support site, it’s now “overlay ads” announced that the ad format will not be supported. These are banner ads that appear below YouTube videos. And it’s only visible to people accessing YouTube from the desktop website.

Support The page states: “Overlay ads are a legacy ad format that is only available on desktop and is annoying to viewers. We expect to see limited impact for most creators as engagement shifts to other ad formats.”

Overlay ads, 6th of AprilIt will officially disappear. Frankly, it is not easy to understand why these ads were not removed immediately.
