We ask that you think you know everything about your iPhone, but today we are going to show you that there are a series of hidden menus that expand the functions of your device. The most users are unaware that these menus exist or simply forgot about them. And they can be most useful.
1. Quick Actions
Threadbare stocks came to the iPhone years ago and are available in all the applications you have installed. There are even some of the options that are customized for each type of app.
To activate this menu, all you have to do is press and hold an icon on the iPhone home screen for a few seconds and immediately you will see how below or above the icon a new menu is displayed. This menu contains a series of shortcuts and quick actions that we can carry out without having to enter the app.
For example, if you hold down the app icon Settings you can quickly access the menus of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Mobile data and Battery. If you do it on the Camera icon, you can take a selfie, record a video, take a portrait or take a selfie in portrait mode.
2. Control Center Edition
Control Center is already a hidden menu that many overlook or use little. you can access it swiping from the top right of your iPhone screen. And if the Control Center itself is already an unknown, the menu that allows you to edit the icons that are displayed is something that almost nobody modifies.
Practically all the icons that we see in the Control Center can be modified by going to Settings> Control Center. In the lower area we can move the site icons, delete them or add new ones. Having the icons that we really use in the Control Center can save us a lot of time.
The accessibility menu hides many functions that hardly anyone knows. It is true that many of the settings that appear here are intended for people with some kind of difficulty when using the iPhone, but there are many interesting settings for most users, all available from Settings > Accessibility.
Here are some of the best accessibility tweaks you can try:
- Text size and bold.
- Reduce interface movement.
- Easy reach, to lower the screen and reach the top.
- Touch back, a secret button hidden on the back of the iPhone.
- Sound recognition, such as a siren or a baby crying.
- Background sounds, to play certain sounds in the background.
Now that you know them, you can start using them in your day to day life. Surely you will find functions that you did not know or access others in a much faster and more direct way.
