A leaked support document mentioning an Apple charger (35W) to charge two devices at once was removed within minutes of being posted.
According to this note by 9to5mac, Apple would launch a new 35W USB-C dual-port charger. This discovery could be carried out since it was through a support document. It could well be said that it can be an existing or discarded product.
New Apple charger for two products at once
According to the notes of the document itself, it is indicated that it is a charger with a 35W dual USB-C port and is made to be connected to a stable power outlet. The curious thing is that the document was deleted within minutes of being discovered on Apple’s own website. More strange is that Apple does not have a dual charger considering the competition that exists with third-party manufacturers.
What devices would this Apple charger be compatible for? The most appropriate reference would be that of a combination between iPhone and Apple Watch. Having an iPhone 13 Pro Max would be enough for a 27 W charge and the Apple Watch Series 7 charging at 5 W. An important detail is that Apple’s charger would support a technology called USB-C Power Delivery.
The specifications are those that we could appreciate in any charger in terms of input (100-240 V / 1.0 A) but in terms of output it changes completely (1 or 2: 5 V DC / 3 A – 9 V DC /3A – 15V DC/2.33A – 20V DC/1.75A).
An accessory that can be useful for the most demanding users
Given the failure of AirPower’s cancellation, this is as close as we could get to a double charge using an Apple charger. ** There is uncertainty about the release of the latter leaked by an official document. **It is also not known if Apple could update the current version of the MagSafe Duo. Let’s remember that it is possible to charge two devices at the same time (an iPhone and Apple Watch) but the smart watch gives a slow charge.
By last, the user who purchases this future Apple charger will have to use it with their own USB-C cables since they will not be included in the purchase. It only remains to wait for an upcoming event or press release in which this and other accessories are made official.
