We have streaming platforms to watch series, to watch movies, to watch documentaries and to watch sports since the arrival of DAZN in Spain. And now a new one could be added: a Netflix of bullfights that seeks to become a reference in Spain and allows viewing all the content related to bullfighting, all the fairs held in our country. A DAZN of bulls that will arrive this month and that is expected to do so on operators such as Vodafone TV or on Orange TV.
At Movistar Plus+ we can contract some television packages for free but other channels are paid and we must pay for them independently without being part of any pack. This is the case of the Toros de Movistar Plus+ channel, which is priced at 20 euros per month with VAT included and includes “all the reference fairs” together with documentaries, debate programs and other content related to the world of bullfighting. But soon this could stop being the only one because Mundotoro TV would be close to reaching the operators.
Mundotoro TV is a new streaming platform from the OneToro company that will allow lovers of this world to watch all related content. With annual, monthly or daily subscriptions with prices from 10 euros a day to 170 euros a year. will allow to see different fairs and bullfights throughout the Spanish territoryhe. But in addition, bullfighting lovers could also see this content through the main Spanish platforms, although it has not yet been specified how or how much can be seen from Orange, Vodafone or Movistar as we already do when watching DAZN from an operator. Beyond the platform, it is sought that there is a linear channel that could be available in the three major operators to reach all audiences, although it has not yet been confirmed how it will be or when or if it will be included in the price or will have to be paid for separated as in the case of others.
The bullfighting program Tarde de Toros on radio Cope Sevilla asked Ignacio Díez de la Cortina, general director of One Toro, about this incorporation and this new bullfighting platform a few days ago. The person in charge of the television explained that it is expected that it will be March 28 when the signal is active to see these channels. It was scheduled to be on March 15 but it would be delayed until the end of this month. “The television that everyone has at home is perfectly adaptable to the means of distribution that we are going to use. To this day I cannot say what those media are or what the names of the companies that are going to distribute the signal are going to be”, explained Díez de la Cortina.
In addition, he compared his channel or platform with a Netflix of bullfighting. «From that date people can download the application on their mobile and then transfer it to television, which in this case will be Smart TV, to give you an example, it is very similar to Netflix or Amazon Prime, and then there will be a possibility that we will announce it from that day on and that it will surely solve all those doubts that the fan may have”, added the director of OneToro in statements to Cope Sevilla.
