WhatsApp has stopped working on some users’ iPhone due to an unknown error.
The world’s popular messaging app is appealing to have problems with the latest iOS update released by Apple. Several users have complained that WhatsApp closes unexpectedly on your iPhone after updating to iOS 15.2. For some unknown reason, the app crashes and quits shortly after you try to open it.
This is a localized bug, as it doesn’t affect all users who have upgraded to iOS 15.2, which makes the WhatsApp bug even weirder. No WhatsApp updates have been published recently on the App Store, and it seems that this bug even affects the beta version of WhatsApp, so maybe it is due to an error in the Facebook servers, and it has nothing to do with the iOS version.
WhatsApp errors on iPhone
Some users have associated the bug with the update to iOS 15.2, but it could be a mere fluke. It seems that WhatsApp has also been experiencing problems with older versions of the operating system Apple mobile. At the moment, WhatsApp has not yet recognized the error that affects several iPhone users.
Apparently, the error does not allow you to open the app or reply to messages. Not even deleting the WhatsApp application and reinstalling it solves the problem. However, it also appears to be something that can be solved only after a while. You can always use one of our tricks for when WhatsApp doesn’t work.
