Apple will likely unveil the Apple Watch Pro at its back-to-school event tonight at 7 p.m. Announced recently by rumors, the future high-end watch has been seen in several leaks, in particular thanks to accessories and diagrams. But to get a better idea, nothing better than a full 3D rendering in action.
A beautiful concept of the Apple Watch Pro
Graphic designers Ian Zelbo and Parker Ortolani have created stunning renderings of the Apple Watch Pro, even going so far as to incorporate redesigned watch faces.

The pair based their renders on computer-aided design (CAD) leaks and information shared by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman on Sunday.
We expect a physically larger watch, with a case of more than 47 mm or even 49 mm according to sources and a two-inch screen. The screen surface will be flat, rather than rounded like on existing models, presumably to better protect the glass against bumps. The case material used by Apple would be titanium, all with a larger battery to extend the autonomy.
On one side, we can see two openings, a long one and a rounder and more oval one. One is likely to be for the speaker, which sits centrally on that side on current models. On the opposite side, we find the digital crown with a side button and the microphone.
What’s interesting is the new digital crown – which looks bigger than previous models and is somehow protected by the side button. This protrusion could be a nod to the Nautilus Watch, which is former Apple design chief Jony Ive’s favorite watch.
What’s new in the Apple Watch Pro?
Apart from the S8 chip, body temperature sensor, and women’s health features, this high-end, rugged watch is said to be aimed at high-level athletes like mountain bikers, hikers, and marathon runners. Featuring a significantly larger screen, it will feature redesigned watch faces, more fitness and health tracking stats, a larger battery, and the improved low power mode for using a few apps.
This tocante probably won’t appeal to all customers, as it will be larger than most cuffs according to Mark Gurman. Moreover, the old bracelets will not be really compatible.
Finally, Apple’s “Pro” watch would cost at least 900 euros, thus surpassing the current Apple Watch Edition in terms of price. For comparison, high-end watches from Garmin cost between 1,000 and 1,500 euros.
