Tech News Desk – Airtel has launched new unlimited 5G data for its prepaid and postpaid users. The company has announced that it is removing the capping of data usage on all existing plans. Simply put, there is no limit on 5G data usage anymore and this offer is available for all postpaid as well as prepaid plans priced at Rs 239 and above. Airtel 5G users no longer need to worry about the data limit.
How to claim Airtel 5G unlimited data offer
Airtel users can use the Airtel Thanx app to view this offer. If the offer is available for your number, you will see a “Claim Unlimited 5G Data” tab on the Profile section page of the app. As soon as you tap on it the app will redirect you to another screen where you will see the “Claim Now” button at the bottom of the screen. Just tapping the button will activate the unlimited data offer for all users. Note that the unlimited 5G data can only be used in 5G network areas. Unlimited 5G data for prepaid customers will work till the validity of the pack.
This plan should be active in the phone
To avail this offer, the user must have an active plan that costs at least Rs.239. You can activate the Rs 265, Rs 296, Rs 299 and Rs 319 plans to enjoy unlimited 5G data. Users can also do an annual recharge of Rs 3359 to get unlimited 5G data.
Airtel has confirmed that the company’s Rs 455 and Rs 1,799 plans do not come with unlimited 5G data. The Rs 455 plan offers 6GB 5G data with a validity of 84 days, while the Rs 1,799 pack offers 24GB high-speed data with a validity of 365 days. Airtel claims that its 5G Plus service offers 30 times more speed than 4G.
