Vivo’s X80 range continues to expand following the arrival of the X80 Pro, the brand’s flagship model. It does so, on this occasion, with the Vivo X80 Litea new mid-range model that stands out for offering a main camera of up to 64 megapixels, one of the most powerful MediaTek SoCs for its price range, and a striking design whose thickness does not exceed 8 millimeters.
One of the most differential points of the Vivo X80 Lite, in fact, is its design. The terminal has a line very similar to what we see in other mid-range models, with flat bezels, a front with minimal frames, and a back that stands out for its photographic module. In this case, the back of the Vivo X80 Lite has a matte finish, which also offers a slight effect when light falls on it.
In that front with hardly any frames we find a 6.44-inch AMOLED-panel. It is a screen with Full HD + resolution, as well as a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz. All this with a 4,500 mAh battery that is also compatible with fast charge up to 44W which, according to the company, allows supplying 60% of the battery in approximately 30 minutes.
MediaTek processor and a base memory that doubles that of its competition
Regarding performance, the Vivo X80 Lite bets on a SoC MediaTek Dimension 900, which is accompanied with 8 GB of RAM. It is a configuration very similar to that found in other smartphones in the same range, with one exception: its base storage. Vivo, specifically, has chosen to include 256 GB of internal memory, leaving aside the 128 GB version that we see in other models.
Vivo has also not wanted to leave aside the photographic section of this X80 Lite. The terminal, in particular, has a main camera up to 64 megapixels with optical image stabilization. It is also accompanied by an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle camera, as well as a 2 megapixel resolution macro sensor. The selfie camera, on the other hand, is 50 megapixels.
When will the new Vivo X80 Lite be available?
The Vivo X80 Lite will be available, let us recall, in a configuration of 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, as well as in a single color variant: Diamond Black. It can be purchased from the first half of October. Its price, however, is still unknown.
