It’s now official, the price of the Amazon Prime monthly/annual subscription will increase from mid-September. If you choose to keep your subscription, you will have to pay a little more money as soon as it automatically renews.
A news that does not make you smile
After the good news last week about the arrival of a brand new interface for Amazon Prime Video, place to the bad. From September 15, 2022, the Prime subscription price will increase for all customers in France.
Whether you are monthly or annual, you will have no choice but to pay more. For the monthly subscription, the price will increase from 5.99 € at 6.99 €. As for the annual subscription, no more 49 € and make way for 69.90 €in other words €70, an increase of more than 40%!
To justify this price increase, Amazon evokes the increase in operating costs of Prime in France. The American giant takes the opportunity to recall all the advantages offered by its service, implying that even with the new prices, it remains unbeatable.
The change will be made automatically during the automatic renewal on your account and you can of course cancel your subscription if this new price list is no longer to your liking. 2022, the year of the increase… As a reminder, the iPhone 14 range should also be entitled to a price increase next September.
In the meantime, subscribe to Amazon Prime at 49 euros before it goes up!
