On the other hand, on the occasion of Diwali, Spotify had a special festive offer in India, offering a free premium subscription. This offer was till 24 October. Apple says the changes were necessary due to the increasing cost of licenses and the overall size of its content list. According to a report, a statement from Apple has surfaced, according to which artists and content creators can expect to earn more money per stream with this change.

Apple Music subscription in India costs Rs 99 for a month for a single user and Rs 149 for a maximum of six members. Apple subscriptions have a separate price set for students, which is 59 per month. Apple’s Voice plan, which costs Rs 49, allows you to track and stream curated radio stations along with Siri voice commands. On the other hand, if we talk about the price of Apple TV +, then it gets a free trial of seven days and after that it costs Rs 99 per month in India. Also, if a user buys an iPhone, iPad or Mac, then the user will get Apple TV + free for the first three months. Apple has increased its monthly subscription plans for Music by $1 for individual users and $2 for family members. After the price hike, the price of these plans has been increased to $10.99, which is around Rs 900 in Indian currency and $16.99, which is around Rs 1,400 in Indian currency. Also, Apple has increased the price of the TV+ plan to $6.99 per month, which is around Rs 600 in Indian currency. Their plans have been increased by $2 and $10 respectively.
