More than two months after presenting the major software innovations at the opening of the WWDC 2022 keynote, Apple is releasing the fifth beta of macOS 13 Ventura for developers who have had the courage to try it on their Mac. In addition to some expected changes, the testers are mainly expecting bug fixes and improvements to make the experience smoother.
What’s new for macOS 13 beta 5?
To discover the 160 new features of macOS Ventura, so you have to upgrade to the beta version on your Mac. While the first version introduced many already essential features like Stage Manager, easy object clipping, new system settings, iPhone webcam and more, the sequel just improved the experience. For the record, Beta 2 brought support for the BIMI standard to authenticate emails in Mail, before Beta 3 added support for the iCloud Shared Photo Library. Beta 4 didn’t change much.

How to install macOS 13 Ventura?
Again, to download and install the new beta firmware, developers can go to their Mac at:
- “Apple” menu (top left of the screen)
- System Preferences
- Software update
To do this, you must first have installed the provisioning profile on the Apple Dev Center. You can also now sign up for Apple’s public beta program.
