Mark Gurman is one of those who has the best information about Apple and has just told all the news about the iPhone 15.
One of Apple’s biggest leakers has just unveiled its forecasts for the new iPhone 15 range that Apple is expected to launch in mid-September. Mark Gurman has collected all the information you have about the new iPhone models of 2023 and has published it in his Newsletter Power On. He says we’re looking at one of the biggest iPhone revamps in the last 3 years.
Apple designers have long dreamed of an iPhone that is truly full screen, with no borders around the screen and no cutouts for cameras or sensors. With iPhone 15 this fall, Apple will take another step toward that goal.
All about the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max
This year great news awaits us, even in the entry iPhone that will have more changes than the previous iPhone 14. It is expected that they will incorporate the USB-C connection and have the A16 Bionic chip of the iPhone 14 Pro. Remember that the iPhone 14 uses the same chip as the iPhone 13.
As expected, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will look similar to the current models, but will add significant improvements to the camera and the A16 chip from the iPhone 14 Pro line. They will also swap out the current Lightning connector for USB-C.
Where most of the news will be concentrated will be in the Pro models. Both the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max will arrive loaded with news. This is everything Mark Gurman expects from them:
- The screens of the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will be made with a new technology: low pressure injection overmolding, or “LIPO”, as it is called within Apple. That new process will reduce the size of the border around the screen to just 1.5 millimeters. They will be the smartphones with the thinnest frames on the market.
- The Pro models will have a new designreplacing the shiny and fingerprint-prone stainless steel edges with something stronger, lighter and more premium: the titanium. Apple has long sought to bring titanium to the iPhone, and its use of the metal with recent watches was a test of bringing that material to its bulkier device.
- The design of the Pro models retains the frosted glass back from previous phones, but the edges connecting the side and front are now less sharp than before.
- He interior of the iPhone 15 Pro is redesigned to match the revamped aluminum chassis of the regular iPhone 14. That revision makes the phone easier to repair.
- The iPhone 15 range will move to USB-C. That will enable faster data transfer speeds for those still syncing with a cable, though some consumers will view the switch as an expensive headache.
- important rear camera upgradesincluding updated lenses and the ability to get a much wider range of optical zoom on the Pro Max model.
- With the normal iPhone 15 models with last year’s A16 processor, the new iPhone 15 Pro will arrive with a 3-nanometer chip that is noticeably faster.
This is all the information that has been shared by Mark Gurman, who is not often wrong when it comes to information about the iPhone. Although, as with every leak, you have to be careful and don’t take anything for granted until the devices show up.
