In April, the My Smart Price site estimated that the Asus Zenfone 10 would abandon its ultra-compact format for a more conventional screen diagonal. It would ultimately be nothing… if we are to believe the Taiwanese manufacturer.
That the Asus Zenfone 10 will be officially revealed on June 29 is no longer a secret. The brand gave us an appointment on this date, at 3 p.m., via its website. There is therefore no longer any doubt: the successor to the very good Zenfone 9 will indeed land this summer.
Except that until then, rumors suggested a strong format change. As a reminder, one of the strengths of the Zenfone 9 was none other than its ultra-compactness, notably made possible by its small 5.9-inch screen. Today, few smartphones claim such a small panel.
No more than 6 inches, finally
For its part, My Smart Price had estimated last April that Asus would opt for a more traditional format of 6.3 inches. A news that had left us somewhat perplexed, as we liked the Zenfone 9 as it was.
Fortunately, Asus would absolutely not have planned this type of update, as we can see Android Authority which is based on a screenshot from the official site. The size of 5.9 inches would thus be renewed to ensure a form of continuity and consistency between the two generations.
Lots of power to spare
It is also to be expected that the Zenfone 10 will be a small power monster with its Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. It is also rumored that wireless charging capabilities, hitherto non-existent on the range, would be included .
See you on June 29.
