Back 4 Blood officially launched in October of last year, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Thanks to the fact that it arrived on Xbox Game Pass from the same day of launch, it almost automatically gained six million players.
Turtle Rock Studios also announced the Tunnels of Terror expansion, which is part of the Back 4 Blood Annual Pass, will be released on April 12. It will include new PvE activities, two characters, new enemy variants, and more character and weapon skins.
The new PvE mode, Ridden Hives, is a cooperative dungeon crawler for four players, which will have seven labyrinths to explore. Inside the labyrinth passages will be the new enemy Warped Ridden, which will also be integrated into the PvP Swarm mode.
New Characters Coming to Back 4 Blood
Apart from the previous content, there will also be two new characters, Sharice and Heng, twelve weapon skins, eight character skins, seven new legendary weapons and a new difficulty mode, No Hope.
The Tunnels of Terror expansion can be played in cooperative mode with up to four players even if only one of them is the owner of the new content. Furthermore, he has insisted that he will follow through on his commitment not to add new microtransactions to the game as part of the expansion.
