tech news desk Vodafone Idea (Vi) is one of the third largest telecom companies in the country. The company’s CEO Ravinder Takkar has revealed that there will be an increase in tariff by the end of 2022, that is, all Vodafone Idea plans will be completed. The company’s current CEO, Ravinder Takkar, who will soon take over as the chairman of the board of VIL, has said that the time is right for tariff hike. Furthermore, Bump said that 5G will definitely come at a premium over 4G. Plans will be presented. Although no specific date was given for the conflict, he said a tariff hike is possible by the end of 2022.
,

Well, the news of this increase is not surprising as both Airtel and Vodafone Idea (Vi) have been demanding growth for a long time. Tariffs will increase after the 5G spectrum auction as companies have spent a lot of money during this period. Therefore, telecom companies need to increase tariffs to increase revenue. Vi is adding 4G customers, and with the tariff hike, its overall revenue should increase further in the next quarter. The ARPU figure of the telco is not even close to that of Airtel and Jio. Apart from the tariff hike, Takkar said the arrival of 5G in India will lead to an increase in data usage. Both Jio and Airtel have hinted at a faster rollout of 5G, but Vi hasn’t said anything on the same lines.
