Just in case you have never come across this percentage within the iPhone, you should know that it is found in its settings, in the battery tab, where we find a percentage that indicates the health of the device’s battery. The higher the percentage, the greater the maximum capacity of these devicesso, obviously, being able to expand that percentage is no small matter.
A real percentage?
The doubts that have always existed around this percentage on our mobile phone, since it could really be said that we are not looking at an exactly real percentage of iPhone battery health. We say this because there are many occasions in which we have not directed Apple technical support to ask about this percentage and the answer they have given us is that let’s wait for the next update for that percentage to be updated.
This allows us to see that the battery percentage that we see in the iPhone is not an absolute truth, but rather it is an adjustment between the battery level that the iPhone has and the optimization that it has in the operating system. If we put all that in a shaker we will get the percentage of battery health that our iPhone phone has.
Of course, once we know this we take into account that we could say that it is not a real percentage, since can change over time and, therefore, if the next iOS update contains improvements in the performance of the phone and the battery, the percentage will be higher than what we currently have.
If you want to expand it, you have to change
To be honest, there is no way in which through our behavior we can improve the state of the device’s battery health. The only thing we can do in this regard is to minimize the long-term impact that you may have by taking some behaviors such as less aggressive use of the mobile phone, ensuring that the phone do not go below 20% of the load or take precautions when plugging in a power outlet regarding voltage.
However, the only way we currently have to be able to recover the battery health percentage of our iPhone on our own is changing the device battery, an action with which this will be reset to 100% again. If you are going to do it, we recommend that you only you do it through official Apple channels so they can put in a brand new battery. So be very careful because they can give you a hard time and with the money that a battery change costs, it is better not to beat around the bush.
