Cris Evans sees two major flaws in her new iPhone 12, having recently upgraded to the device from an iPhone 6s.
Just a few weeks ago we saw how Chris Evans, Captain America himself and protagonist of an important series on Apple TV +, Traded in your old iPhone 6s for a new iPhone 12. During an interview with Collider, Evans lamented the loss of his iPhone 6s, stating that the new iPhones have some issues that bother him.
Used to an iPhone 6s, Evans has missed a lot of news during the last years and many technological changes. And this has probably led him to not feel comfortable with his new device. Which is clearly better than your old iPhone 6s, but which includes changes that the actor did not like.
The two reasons why Chris Evans does not like his new iPhone
On the one hand, Evans’ main complaint comes from the device weight. The larger size and the inclusion of the glass on the back make the iPhone 12 much heavier, 143 g against 164 g. Something that is clearly noticeable when using them, and luckily he did not opt for a Pro model that is still more expensive.
I feel like my new phone is too heavy. I know that makes me the oldest dinosaur in the world, but the problem is… It’s right here. It’s right here. I’m going to drop some shit right now. Because while I’m holding it, you use your little finger to hold it, and it feels too heavy. It’s too heavy.
In addition to weight, Evans has noticed the home button missing. Many of us are already used to the new “all-screen” iPhone gestures, but it seems that Evans has not done so yet. But for this type of user, Apple offers the iPhone SE, which maintains that design, however, it is not something that Evans sees with good eyes.
It’s like, no, I don’t want (the iPhone SE), I want the iPhone 6. I want something from before to work until it doesn’t work anymore.
They are certainly interesting opinions, but the truth is that 99% of users who switch from an iPhone 6s to an iPhone 12 will see an improvement in all aspects. Being only the weight the only clear downside, but it is certainly worth it. You can see the interview in the following video.
