Just before its official launch, the electric Citroën ë-C3 reveals a range greater than expected, certified up to 326 km for the base model.
Announced for less than €25,000 excluding bonus, the Citroën ë-C3 fits into the competitive segment of electric city cars, alongside models like the Fiat 600e. Its starting price now set at €23,300 before ecological bonus, it aims to attract budget-conscious users without sacrificing daily performance.
This city car is expected in Citroën showrooms from June, with first deliveries scheduled for early fall. The already marked interest in the ë-C3 is visible through high pre-order volumes. These therefore show the enthusiasm of users for this new model which combines economy and ecology.
The real autonomy of the Citroën ë-C3 exceeds expectations
Initially, the Citroën ë-C3 was announced with an estimated range of 320 km. But recently, this figure has been revised downward to 300 km on the manufacturer’s website due to a more cautious communication approach. However, the final results of the WLTP cycle offered future users a pleasant surprise: real autonomy is not only higher that this revision but exceeds also the first estimates. The entry level, the “You” version, with 16-inch wheels reaches 326kmwhile the “Max” version with 17-inch rims displays 321km.
In addition to its energy performance below expectations, the ë-C3 is distinguished by its interior designed for comfort and focused on modern technologies. The C-Zen Lounge model is equipped with Advanced Comfort seats and a suspension system with double hydraulic stops. They aim to provide a smooth and pleasant ride, even on rough roads. Technology is not left out with, for the “Max” version, a large infotainment screen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which ensures full connectivity.
The increased autonomy of the Citroën ë-C3, combined with its innovations in comfort and connectivity, therefore positions it as a very competitive option on the electric city car market.
