Cooler Master, specialized in hardware, is really going to sell its Orb X workstation. The product is completely excessive, like its selling price.
Is it an office? A seat ? Or all at once? The latest product from the Cooler Master brand, which is best known for its PC power supplies, is atypical. In fact, we have known about this chair since 2021. As of today, Cooler Master allows people to register on the waiting list to order its Orb X.
It shows how serious Cooler Master is about this awesome workstation. It feels like business class in a long-haul, the set obviously includes a seat, adjustable with legrest, support for a 34-inch monitor or three 27-inch screens and space to connect a laptop or a console. In short, it was designed for work and/or play.
Everything at your fingertips, in the best conditions
As you might expect, there are four USB-A ports and two USB-C ports, including one with a 60 W power supply (to power a MacBook, for example). The area dedicated to the keyboard and mouse is topped with a fabric mouse pad, as well as an area with wireless charging. Cooler Master promises a surround sound experience, with an audio system that includes two tweeters, a woofer and two speakers. Which makes it a 2.1 audio system.
Should we mention the many RGB LEDs everywhere? Cooler Master imagines this workstation in full open-space, it will then be necessary to think of deactivating the LEDs so as not to disturb his colleagues. What is obviously is that this atypical seat will allow you to concentrate. Count extraordinarily high prices, more than 3,000 dollars (without the screens) and up to 5,000 dollars for the version capable of integrating the 34-inch screen. This product should have remained a showcase product, to make communication, nevertheless you can really buy it.
We will mention, in passing, the recent work of Volkswagen. They designed seat like an electric car. And, it is quite extraordinary. For its part, Acer had already unveiled the Predator Thronos Air. A seat, or rather a workstation, just as impressive as that of Cooler Master.
