DLSS 3.0 blows up FPS counters
As a reminder, this is the latest version of the green team’s AI-powered super-sampling technology. Available only on the latest GeForce RTX 4000 for the moment, this version pushes the FPS gain even further by exploiting a new option: DLSS Frame Generation.
This tool allows the DLSS to predict the movements of a scene, in order to allow the neural network to boost the number of frames per second and maintain optimal image quality. The first tests carried out at the end of 2022 show impressive results on certain titleswith a performance increase of 219% on Marvel’s Spider-Man or 400% on Cyberpunk 2077. We even reached 500 FPS on Overwatch 2.
Diablo IV promises infernal fluidity with DLSS 3.0
“PC gaming super-franchises such as Diablo and Forza Horizon, plus Bethesda’s new Redfall, set the bar high for image quality with stunning graphics while using DLSS to keep the gameplay looking as good as it gets. fluid as silk”, promises Nvidia in a press release.
