Practically since the birth of Mundo Xiaomi we have been informing you of the different novelties that Xiaomi has been introducing in its MIUI customization layer throughout its different versions, new functions that have been implemented through the weekly closed betas of this system and that, unfortunately, everything indicates that they will stop doing it from Android 13.
As we have been able to know through MIUI Polska through the well-known developer Kacper Skrzypekafter more than twelve years in a row of launching this type of closed beta versions, Xiaomi will stop doing it from Android 13, being these replaced by what until today we know as public betaswhich will also be released weekly, although with much less news.
Goodbye to the closed betas of MIUI from Android 13
To put us in context, Xiaomi currently divides the launch of its different versions of MIUI into three large groups such as stable versions, public betas and closed betasthe latter being the ones that, quite likely, will stop doing so once the first ROMs based on Android 13 are implemented.
This modification it will not affect at all all those users who simply update their phones with 100% stable versions of the systembut it does represent an important change for all the people or developers who usually install this type of version in order to test the new features implemented by Xiaomi on a regular basis.
Therefore, it seems that the brand will replace what we knew until now as weekly closed betas of MIUI with public betas that, as has happened until Android 12, they will be based on stable versions of the system and that will also be deployed weekly, although in this case with a much smaller amount of integrated novelties.
