Technology News Desk !!! Google has announced the addition of a new highly-cited label to search results to help users find the original source of a trending story. The company said it is offering a way to help people identify stories that are often sited by other news organizations. The label will appear on top stories, said Nidhi Hebbar, product manager at Google. You’ll be able to find it on anything from an investigative article, to an interview, an announcement, a press release or a local news story, as long as other publishers indicate its relevance by adding it. The company said it is particularly interested in the ability to upgrade original reporting, making it even easier for people to find and connect with publishers and journalists whose work gives a story unparalleled value. The highly-cited label is launching on mobile in English for the US soon and will roll out globally in the coming weeks, the company said in a blog post late Thursday. is expanding its efforts to help critically evaluate the results being shown. Hebber informs, starting today, on searches in English in the US, the information will also include tips to help you evaluate information online. Reminding you that you can rely on a source on a topic, or come back later when more information becomes available.
