Customer base grows 5%
The results of the MásMóvil Group corresponding to the year 2022 have recorded the growth of the company financially and commercially. And that is due, according to the teleco itself, to the good results of its multi-brand strategy and especially to the good march of the northern marches.
During the year 2022, the Group reached total revenues of 2,894 million euros, 17% more than the previous year. As for revenue from services, they registered an increase of 19% to reach 2,647 million euros, 2% organically.

EBITDA in 2022 it stood at 1,199 million euros (26% more than in 2021), while the EBITDA margin rose up reach 41%. Nevertheless, the Group obtained a net profit in 2022 of 444 million euros134% more than the previous year.
On the other hand, during the past year, the MásMóvil Group invested a total of 470 million euros and managed to reduce its net debt by nearly 500 million (from 6,730 to 6,282 million euros). Here, the sale of the Euskaltel network for 580 million euros last July played an important role.

At the commercial level, at the end of last year, the company -including Euskaltel- had 15.3 million lines, 5% more than at the end of 2021. Of all of them, 12 million are mobile (9.3 million contract, 6% more than the previous year) and 3.3 million fixed broadband, 7% more than in 2021.
This growth in the client portfolio has come about because, during 2022, the Group added close to 800,000 new lines (227,000 of fixed broadband and 565,000 of postpaid mobile contract. The last quarter of the year stands out especially, when he incorporated 159,000 mobile contract lines and 51,000 fixed broadband lines.
