Apple opened pre-orders for the new iPhone 14s last Friday, two days after the presentation during the “Far Out” keynote. While the fastest customers have a delivery date of Friday, September 16, the Cupertino company has already stored a large number of phones in its warehouses. The opportunity to discover the box of the two high-end models, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Discover the boxes of the iPhone 14
Again, this is through Majin Bu that we can get a preview of a future Apple product. After unveiling the iPhone 14 cases and Apple Watch Ultra bracelets, he offers us some photos of the iPhone 14 Pro boxes. No surprise here, we are entitled to a compact, white packaging with the image of the device on top. Depending on the model chosen, you will have the purple, yellow, blue or gray wallpaper, i.e. the official backgrounds that go with the four colors of the iPhone 14 Pro (purple, gold, silver and black).
As is the case since the iPhone 12, Apple does not include a charger in the iPhone 14 box, a way to reduce the size of the box but also to make significant economies of scale. Not to mention the fact that it limits the ecological impact. On the other hand, Tim Cook’s company still provides a Lightning to USB-C cable, certainly the last one before the switch to all USB-C next year with the iPhone 15.
Finally, Majin Bu explains that new iPhones absolutely must not be activated before 8 am on Friday, September 16. Certainly Apple’s embargo with resellers and other carriers.
While waiting for delivery, I invite you to read our presentation of the iPhone 14, as well as our comparisons between iPhone 14 and iPhone 13, and iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro. Not to mention the fact that apparently the iPhone 14 Plus is not selling well.
