How to change the style of notifications in iOS 16
Right now you may be seeing all your iPhone notifications grouped at the bottom. As we said, this is a consequence of the new lock screen. By default, Apple considers it more appropriate to ‘dirty’ less the wallpaper. Especially if you have any set up with a depth effect or have added widgets to your lock screen.
Well, you just have to go to Settings > Notifications . In this section you will find three ways to organize notifications.
- Count: This option is the one that hides the notifications the most, making an indicator simply appear at the bottom saying the number of pending notifications. You will have to press it and slide to see them all.
- Cluster: this is a hybrid between the classic way of seeing notifications and counting. In this case they are shown at the bottom, although they are all grouped in a small space and you have to slide them to consult them all.
- Ready: this is the format that has been present in iOS 15 and earlier versions. In this case, you will be able to see them occupying as much space as possible on the lock screen and in the order in which they were received, although grouped by contact.
It should be said that in this settings panel you will find other notification customization options already present in previous versions and that may be useful to you. See as an example the Scheduled Summary, an ideal function for when some concentration mode is active in which certain apps are being prevented from notifying. As soon as you exit that mode, a very visual summary will appear to give you a quick overview of the notices that were not received.
Furthermore, we find the possibility that notifications can be seen or not with the iPhone lockedif we want these to come out when we share screen and even the always interesting options that Siri announce notifications. Of course, you will also have access to the notification settings of each app arranged alphabetically.
