Meanwhile, the 4:3 aspect ratio works best for photography as it is only 33% wider than it is tall and works better for printing.
However, the above is not absolute. the 16:9 ratio is also preferred by those who take panoramic photos, such as those that deserve a charming place or to capture family memories in landscape. Likewise, 16:9 fits most modern screenssuch as televisions, tablets, phones, and computer screens. Recording in this ratio avoids the famous black bars around the image and allows you to show the entire video without cutting it.

- Open the camera.
- Tap the arrow at the top of the screen.
- Choose between the aspect ratio button. “4:3″ or 16:9”.
When making the decision remember that 16:9 aspect ratio is usually lower resolution than 4:3, as it crops the shot. If you want to always get the most out of your camera hardware, shoot in 4:3.
