There we also have our iPhone, because just by focusing on a text with our phone’s camera we can translate it. And now, in iOS 16, this translation is carried out by the same systemso both in terms of privacy and speed we have the best option.
As easy as pointing the camera, nothing more
When it comes to translating a text with our iPhone’s camera, iOS 16 brings us two options. On one side, there is the Translate app, which comes with all our phones. Using it to understand any text that we can take a photo of is as easy as opening it and entering the tab Camera. Then we simply point and touch the shoot button, we will see that the text appears translated before us.
The other option is to use the Camera app directly, which is faster, which in many situations we will appreciate. For this we only have to open the camera app and focus on a text. We will notice that the system automatically detects the content and shows us the Live Text button in the lower right corner.
After touching this button, the text will be in front of us and will appear in the bottom left corner button Translate. With a simple touch we will see all the content of the image translated into Spanish quickly. Notice that we didn’t even have to take the actual photo, just point the camera and tap translate.
Details like these are very interesting when it comes to translating texts that we do not understand. The ease that our iPhone offers us when it comes to managing these translations on the fly is most interesting. Translations that, as we have just seen, in iOS 16 become much more comfortable to perform. Just focus the camera and go.
