Whether you are at home or away from home, whether you want to change the password before sharing it or without changes: your Movistar router enables remote access through your mobile phone and its application. It is one more way to know what the WiFi network passwords are. And without the app’s possibilities stopping here, they are much broader.
Each WiFi access point we have at home tends to accumulate a good number of devices. And there is always room for more: from our own to those who accompany our visits. Share the key to connect It is usually as simple as remembering it and writing it in a message, even our cell phones allow us to attach it. And Movistar has a remote management app that also does it.
Movistar Smart WiFi, the app to manage the remote connection
All the routers that Movistar installs allow remote administration using Smart WiFi, an app for Android and iOS that, after connecting to the user account, Enables a virtual bridge between the mobile and the router; opening the door to endless remote management, such as seeing all the devices connected to the network and even activating the connection for guests without being at home. It also allows what we are looking for, sharing the passwords of the different networks.
Since we will be using the Movistar Smart WiFi app, the first thing to do is download it. It is very useful for managing the router, whether you are present at home or not: as long as the devices are connected to the Internet you can manage your networks.
