Beta 4 of iOS 17.5 and iPadOS 17 is now available, the version that will be used by the new iPads that Apple will present in a week
Apple just launched the fourth beta of iOS 17.5 and iPadOS 17.5, which may be the last beta of the fifth update of the operating system. Let us remember that in a week the first Apple event of the year will be held and it is expected that On May 7, Apple will present new iPads that will arrive with this update installed.
This is an important update but it does not introduce too many new features and functions, except for the side loading of applications. Together with iOS 17.5, Apple will allow “sideloading” on European iPhones for the first time, something that we have already learned should also reach iPads.
Beyond this, iOS 17.5 includes small podcast widget layout changes and in the icons of some apps, as well as improvements in the AirTag anti-tracking system. At the moment, not much more news has been found and the sights are already set on iOS 18, which will be presented in just over a month at WWDC24.
