iPhone 14 The series just came out last week but already rumors about 15 are starting to circulate. Now a reliable source, LeaksApplePro, has released a number of other rumors. All iPhone 15 models are expected to use Lightning and USB-C. USB-C is expected to become mandatory in the EU just a few months after the 15 series goes on sale.
iPhone 15 Ultra will exceed expectations with battery performance!
With the renaming of the “Pro Max” model to “Ultra”, there may be some changes. Analysts Ming-Chi Kuo and Mark Gurman have already published similar reports. The interesting part about the iPhone 15 Ultra is that the device has some special hardware.
For example, iPhone 15 will have 8K video recording feature, it is possible for iPhone 15 Pro to support the same feature. Kuo also claims that the Ultra will only have a periscope lens and may come with a 3-4 hour longer battery life.
With all these special upgrades, the price of the iPhone 15 Ultra is expected to increase, possibly starting at $1,200 ($1,100) compared to the 14 Pro Max, but that’s still unclear. As for the rest of the lineup, all four models are expected to adopt the Dynamic Island design, but different chipsets will continue to be used, with the two pairs, Pro and Ultra models moving to a new Apple. The A17, vanilla iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will most likely get the current A16.
There is some speculation that the FaceID hardware might go under the screen and leave only the camera hole, but it will be months before it becomes clear whether this technology is viable or will have to wait another year. It’s too early to say whether the vanilla and Plus models will have high refresh rate displays and Always On modes.
