The new models are the DLA-NZ900 and DLA-NZ800which will also be known as DLA-RS4200 and DLA-RS3200 in the US market and which arrive to replace the current NZ9 and NZ8 with a notable increase in technical specifications.
To begin with, it is about the third generation of JVC D-ILA 4K equipment, which on this occasion promise to be able to achieve a native contrast up to 50% higher than in previous models such as the NZ9. This is approximately a factor of 150,000:1 on the NZ900 and of 100,000:1 on the NZ800.
For this, the brand has chosen to incorporate a light generation system BLU-Escent Laserwhich improves luminosity and would be able to achieve maximum brightness of 3,300 ANSI lumens for the DLA-NZ900 and up to 2,700 on the DLA-NZ800both with the advantage of having up to 20,000 hours performance of your lamps.
By using a laser light, turning projectors on and off They are faster than with conventional lamp models. In addition, it is possible to control the complete turning off of the light, obtaining contrasts that tend to infinity without residual background lights.
Although the actual native resolution is 4K, the projectors are capable of working with up to 8K at 60 fps thanks to the 48Gbps HDMI ports and the pixel shift technique, which in this edition is the manufacturer’s second generation under the name 8K/e-shiftX.
They also have the system Frame Adapt HDR Generation second generation, an algorithm that promises to optimize images in high dynamic range by adapting to the instantaneous conditions of the video sequence.
Just as with technologies Clear Motion Drive and Motion Enhance to improve the smoothing of the sequences at 24 fps and quality optics manufactured in glass with 100mm in it NZ900/RS4200 and 65mm on the NZ800/RS3200 as well as a dynamic light control system for the most complex scenes, both models being compatible with 3D movies.
