LG likes to try new things, and this time they have come up with a very practical device, which has many uses.
LG StandbyMe Go It is a very interesting proposal from the Korean multinational. It’s about a wireless touchscreen tv/monitor that stows in a suitcaseto transport it comfortably.
Wireless monitors have become all the rage, but most need to be plugged into a power outlet. LG StandbyMe Go has its own batterywhich offers a range of up to three hours.
It’s about a 28-inch HDR LED touch panel with 1080p resolution and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. With Dolby Vision support. Also has 4 Dolby Atmos compatible speakers. You can see it in the opening video of the news.
The TV inside an LG suitcase
This portable TV uses LG’s popular WebOS system and has WiFi, so you can Netflix, Disney +, Prime Video, and the rest of the platforms.
It is also a touch screen that allows you to play mobile video games on a giant panel. As seen in the video, you can put it horizontally to play digital board games, or simulate a record player (or MP3 player).
It is connected to the suitcase by an arm that allows it to be used vertically or horizontally. Actually, in any position, since the screen rotates 365 degrees.
Both the screen and the remote control are stored inside a suitcase with military protection MIL-STD-810H. This means that it is resistant to water and dust, and can withstand bumps and falls.
With measurements of only 670 mm x 433 mm x 119 mm it fits in the trunk of the car, or under the bed.
LG StandbyMe Go, the wireless touch TV inside a suitcase, is already on sale in South Korea. It is priced at about 900 euro, and the suitcase is available in various colors. It seems like a good buy for people who travel a lot, or if you need a portable TV at home.
