Mazda It was born as a general brand with a wide range of vehicles. With the passage of time, everything in its structure was improving, to the point where they can be compared with titans of the likes of Toyota or Volkswagen. During its growth, they set a goal, to offer their customers a more refined experience, which little by little would knock on the doors of the premium world. After several decades, the Mazda CX-90 it is the entrance to that world and the fulfillment of his promise.

On the outside, the CX-90 takes everything we’ve seen from the latest design evolution. kodo, soft, fluid and sharp shapes to give an imposing and refined image at the same time. Discreet chrome contrasts and colors ad hoc with this premium aura.
LED headlights, wheels up to 21″ and dimensions that place it in the midsize SUV segment are its calling cards. This SUV is the next generation of what we currently know as the CX-9, but as we already mentioned, with a focus who seeks to enter the world premium.

Mazda access models, that is, Mazda2, Mazda3, Mazda CX-3, CX-30, CX-5 and CX-50, will continue to fight in the world generalistmaintaining that touch of good handling and refinement that has characterized them.
However, larger models like this CX-90, CX-70 (which we don’t know about yet) and apparently the next sedan to use this same platform, will try to make noise in the premium entry segment, that is, where Acura, Infiniti and Lexus play.
The interior makes it clear finest fabric blend, nappa leather, real wood, metals and more, they give a feeling of much greater refinement to your interior. At the equipment level, they also follow this path with 12″ screens, premium audio system, multi-zone automatic a/c, seats with memories, ventilation and heating, HUD, among many others.

Mazda even implemented tricks from their funniest division and I mean the Kinetic Posture Control that we would see in the MX-5, to make its driving sensations more stable and to some extent fun, of course within the limits of a vehicle that seeks refinement first.
Mazda will also offer plug-in hybrid variants, in this case with 17.8 kWh and a combustion engine 4-cylinder naturally aspirated 2.5 liters. Together this system can reach the 323 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque.
Both 6-cylinder engine and PHEV confirmed for Mexico
Mazda will start selling the CX-90 in Mexico to from June 2023while the plug-in hybrid variants will reach up to 2024.
