I don’t know how many hours I have dedicated to Age of Empires in my life, to the different deliveries that have been coming into my house. It was always one of my favorite PC games and the personal star when it comes to resource management: marked a before and after in the genre; and that Sierra Entertainment stood up to Microsoft, that the Caesars also had their point. I recently rescued Age of Empires II HD Edition on my Steam Deck, still maintains the charm of twenty years ago. Will you also keep it when you make the jump to mobile?
“Age of Empires Mobile is coming”
The game saga is news because just yesterday, October 26 Age of Empires celebrated the 25 years that have passed through it. In the event they not only remembered the enormous evolution that the games have undergone, there was also space for the announcements of reissues and for the jump of Age of Empires to consoles. And it was mobile game. This time yes.
As the Age of Empires account posted on Twitter, the saga is about to land on smartphones as a game, in principle, independent. The title will adapt the complicated control of computers to the touch screen: surely management and setting options will be reduced, as is usual in adaptations to smartphones.
As specified by Microsoft through Age of Empires:
“Experience the power of an empire in the palm of your hand and command your armies with the touch of a finger. Age of Empires Mobile arrives“.
The confirmation of the development of Age of Empires for mobile phones is accompanied by a video as a timid advance of the delivery. Little can be seen in it apart from cinematics, so We cannot venture how the adaptation will look on screen nor the mechanics that it will show off.
Age of Empires Mobile is in development by World’s Edge, a subsidiary of Xbox Game Studios, and TIMI Studios, a subsidiary of Tencent. The date on which it will be available for download is unknown.
