It is expected that Lava International Limited and Dixon Technologies India Limited will be responsible for assembling the Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo smartphones. According to a Bloomberg report, China is the world’s largest smartphone maker and consumer market. But companies like Xiaomi are seeing India as a country other than China. To boost smartphone exports from India, the Modi government put pressure on foreign mobile manufacturing brands to produce locally.
